Deleting Evaluations

Warning! Once an evaluation is deleted using RP Utility, there is no way to get it back! Any completed evaluations (filled out by residents or attendings) will no longer be accessible in Residency Partner™ or Web RP™. Deleting the evaluation in RP Utility creates a cascade effect. All references to the evaluation are permanently removed. If you are unsure about whether you should delete the evaluation, consider disabling it instead.

Have the exact name of the evaluation to be deleted, because they are often similar and you don't want to delete the wrong one.

If your institution has multiple programs, you should request the Program Type Key of the program that created the evaluation from Gothic Software. This will help you locate the evaluation to be deleted.

To delete an evaluation:

  1. Run RP Utility.
  2. Click Edit Eval Form Info. The Evaluation Forms window will open.
  3. Enter the password. (If you do not have the password, contact Gothic Software.)
  4. Using the Program Type Key and the name, locate the evaluation and select it.
  5. Press the Delete key.
  6. A message will appear asking if you want to delete the row. If you are certain you want to delete the evaluation, click Yes.
  7. Close the Evaluation Forms window, then exit RP Utility.
